iSport International takes home podium finishes at Monaco!
A superb weekend for iSport at the Monaco GP2 event with podium finishes in both races backed up with top six finishes in both races – Congratulations to Marcus and Jolyon on great drives and to the whole team… there’s nothing quite like that winning feeling!
Monaco, GP2 Feature Race: Johnny Cecotto lead from lights to flag to claim victory in the feature race in Monaco, followed closely by Marcus Ericsson who chased his gearbox right to the flag on the historic circuit that is extremely difficult to overtake on; with Van Der Garde joining them on the GP2 podium. Jolyon also drove a good race finishing 6th. Jolyon Palmer then claimed his maiden GP2 win with a strong and mature drive in the GP2 Sprint Race, from the ‘reverse grid’ front row to the chequered flag, ahead of Max Chilton and Van Der Garde. The sprint race was full of incident and drama involving, amongst others, James Calado, Johnny Cecotto and Davide Valsecchi. Marcus also drove well to finish 4th… all round a great performance from drivers and team. REAL Race Seat Inserts… we’re literally right behind our drivers!
